Spotless Direct License: Key Delivery, Seats and Refunds Explained

TL;DR

Buy through Stripe and a license key is emailed to you, usually within minutes. Paste it into the app once. The 1-year license covers one Mac for 365 days; Lifetime covers up to three Macs and never expires. A full refund revokes the key.

This page applies to the direct download. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

Getting set up

  1. Pay on the product page. Payment goes through Stripe.
  2. Wait for the email. Your license key is sent to the address you paid with.
  3. Open Spotless and paste the key once. Cleaning is now unlocked.

What each license covers

  • 1-Year ($29.99): 1 Mac, a year of updates, 365 days from purchase.
  • Lifetime ($99.99): up to 3 Macs, updates forever, never expires.

Neither is a subscription. Nothing renews automatically.

Seats

A key covers seats, not installs. Retiring a Mac? Free its seat and use it on the new one.

Refunds

Email [email protected]. If a purchase is refunded in full, the license it issued stops working. So don’t hand a key to someone else and then refund it.

Before you buy

You don’t have to guess. Scanning is free, so run it and see how much space you could get back first. That is the whole point of the app.

I paid but have no key. Check spam first. The key goes to the email you paid with, usually within a few minutes. If it still isn’t there, email [email protected].

Can I move my license to a new Mac? Yes. A key covers seats, not installs, so you can move a seat when you retire an old machine.
