Swipe Clean Free vs. Premium: The Daily Limit, Videos, Vault and Plans
Free: unlimited scanning and reviewing, contacts cleanup, system info and widgets, and one cleanup a day of up to 50 MB. Premium: unlimited deleting, video compression, the Secret Vault and all charging characters, as a weekly or yearly subscription or a lifetime purchase.
The problem
Cleaner apps are notorious. Some show a scary “25 GB of junk” screen and then hide the list behind a weekly subscription. Others let you delete a little and quietly stop. You want to know what’s free before you spend an evening on it.
What’s free
- Scanning, with a full list of what it found
- Reviewing in swipe mode or the grid, with previews
- Contacts cleanup: duplicates and incomplete entries
- System info and the widgets
- The companion, streaks and some charging characters (Volt, Pulse and Orbit)
- One cleanup a day, of up to 50 MB
What the free limit means in practice
The limit is on deleting, not looking:
- You get one cleanup session per day.
- A session can delete up to 50 MB.
- If your selection is over 50 MB, the app doesn’t delete part of it. It asks you to upgrade, so pick a smaller batch to stay free.
- Once you’ve used your free cleanup, the next one waits until tomorrow.
Fifty megabytes is a few dozen photos, not a big cleanup. It’s enough to see how the app works, not to fix a full phone.
What Premium adds
- Unlimited photo and video deletion
- Video compression
- Secret Vault
- All charging characters
Plans are a weekly subscription, a yearly subscription (shown as best value, often with a free trial for new subscribers) or a lifetime purchase, pay once and keep it.
Which should you pick?
- One big cleanup to get out of trouble: compare the weekly, yearly and lifetime prices in the app, and pick the lifetime purchase if you don’t want anything to renew.
- Want to try first: use the free plan or a trial. Everything but the volume of deleting and the Premium-only tools works.
- Only need contacts or the widgets: free is enough.
Before you pay
Run the scan. The Home screen shows how much is “ready to clean”. If it’s small, you don’t need to buy anything.
