How to Share a Transcript or the Original Audio from SpeakSense
From a note choose Share and pick: transcript, transcript with translation (Premium), or audio. Use the iOS share sheet to send to Mail, Files, Notes or other apps. Copy transcript puts everything on the clipboard. iCloud backup is optional and off by default.
The problem
The text is only useful if it reaches your notes, your email or your team, and the audio only if you can hand it on. And you want to decide that yourself, not have the app push things to its cloud.
Steps
- Open the note and tap Share.
- Choose Share transcript, Share transcript with translation (Premium) or Share audio.
- Pick the destination in the iOS share sheet: Mail, Messages, Files, Notes, AirDrop and so on.
Alternatively choose Copy transcript from the menu and paste anywhere.
Backup
Settings → Recording → iCloud backup copies recordings to your own private iCloud. It is off by default. Nothing is sent to our servers either way.
Tips
- For big audio files use AirDrop or Files rather than Messages.
- Share the text with timestamps if the reader will check the audio, without them for a clean summary.
- After sharing, delete the audio if you don’t need to keep it.
