How to Batch-Download Images, Audio and Video from a Page in Chrome
Tick the files you want, or Select All in a tab, and press download. Free gives you each file separately; Pro adds one ZIP and a CSV list. Filter out icons and duplicates first, and expect a few failures on sites with hotlink protection.
The problem
Forty images, three audio clips and a video on one page. Saving them one by one takes ten minutes. Dragging them to the desktop makes a mess of file names, and doing this for a dozen pages is why people stop bothering.
The batch flow
- Open the page, scroll to load everything, click the extension icon.
- Pick a tab: Images, Audio or Videos.
- Clean the list before you select (see below).
- Tick the files, or tick Select All. The counter shows how many are selected.
- Press the download button for separate files, or the ZIP button (Pro) for a single archive.
Selection is per tab, and a new scan clears it.
Clean the list first
- Minimum width/height drops icons, spacers and tracking pixels.
- Hide duplicate URLs collapses the same file used five times on a page. It’s on by default.
- Search by name or URL fragment (for example
/products/or.webp) to narrow to what you need.

If you need a list of everything with its address and size, use the CSV export (Pro): type, name, URL and dimensions.
What goes wrong, and what to do
- Chrome asks to allow multiple downloads. Allow it once for the site.
- Some files fail. Hotlink protection or expired links. Retry from the site’s own page.
- File names look strange. They come from alt text or titles plus a timestamp. Rename in bulk with Finder or your file manager.
Be tidy
Make a folder per source page before you start, and note where the files came from and under what licence.
FAQ
Can I select across Images, Audio and Video at once? No. Selection is per tab. Download one tab’s selection, then switch tab and select again.
What’s the difference between the download button and ZIP?
Download starts each file as its own download. ZIP (Pro) fetches the selected files and packs them into one assets_
Why did Chrome ask me about multiple downloads? Starting many downloads at once triggers Chrome’s own “allow multiple downloads” prompt. Allow it for the site.
Why are some files missing from the ZIP? The ZIP is built by fetching each file from the extension. If a site blocks that kind of request, that file is skipped and the rest are still packed.
